In its inaugural year, the Hall of Fame Gala formally celebrated the 2006 class of inductees with a black-tie event including cocktails, dinner and dancing at the historic Rainbow Room in New York City. The evening of November 15 was kicked-off by the Master of Ceremonies Richard Schrader, Past FEI Chair, and Colleen Cunningham, Past FEI President and CEO. Jointly they presented commemorative awards and plaques to the 2006 Hall of Fame Inductees:
