©December 2008, 37 pages

The International Standards Project, a joint research project directed by Prof. Tim Büthe (Duke University, USA) and Prof. Walter Mattli (Oxford University, UK), has released the Research Report Assessing the IASB, with key findings from the a survey about International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). The survey was conducted among financial executives—mostly CFOs and chief accounting officers—of companies listed on the major stock exchanges of the United States, Germany, France and the United Kingdom. A total of 749 executives from all industries, participated in the survey. Financial Executives International and its research affiliate, Financial Executives Research Foundation participated in the survey conducted in the U.S. and is providing this report to FEI members as an IFRS resource.
