FEI Committee On Corporate Reporting Writes Congress On Standard-Setting
Nov. 5, 2009

On Nov. 5, 2009, FEI's Committee on Corporate Reporting (CCR) submitted a letter to Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mont.) and Rep. Spencer Bachus (D-Mont.), chair and ranking member, respectively, of the House Financial Services Committee. The FEI CCR letter stated: "We urge you to reject any efforts to place accounting standard setting under a new oversight board and continue to support independent accounting standard setting in the United States."
