FEI Chapters

In addition to national membership, members are encouraged to join one of more than 85 local Chapters throughout North America (74 in the United States and 11 in Canada). Chapter participation provides opportunities to interact with peers at monthly meetings, networking events and professional development seminars, and fosters discussion of topics of professional and personal interest. FEI Chapters strive to create a welcoming and stimulating atmoshpere for their members.

Chapters do more than compare notes on pressing business issues - they help establish lasting relationships community-wide. Many Chapter participate witrh local colleges and universities by creating awards programs for students and broadening an awareness of financial management careers. FEI endeavors to create Chapters that are relevant -- Chapters that can assist FEI members gain the valuable knowledge and contacts they need to excel.

FEI Area Structure

FEI Chapters are assigned to six regional and geographically aligned areas across the United States - Midwestern, North Atlantic, North Central, Southern, Southwestern and Western. Each Area is governed by an Area Leadership Board, and Chapter leaders in each Area meet annually in-person and via conference calls to discuss best practices, succssion planning guidelines for the Area, and provide a direct line of communications from the grassroots to the Board of Directors.
