Knoxville is proud to be host to the most recent chapter addition to Financial Executives International.  In 2009, FEI announced expansion in the United States, with the chartering of a new chapter in Knoxville, Tennessee which became the 85th chapter – 74 in the U.S. and 11 in Canada – for FEI, the professional association of senior finance executives.

Marie Hollein, FEI president and CEO of the Morristown, N.J. based professional association stated, "We are excited for the formation of a new chapter that enables FEI to expand its presence into the great city of Knoxville and meet the specific needs of local professionals".

The Knoxville FEI Chapter was the proud recipient of the 2010 FEI Chapter Member Development award presented at the FEI Summit held in Las Vegas on April 26th, 2010.  At the FEI Summit held in Phoenix on April 4, 2011, the Knoxville Chapter was awarded the 2011 FEI Chapter Member Development award as well as the 2011 FEI Outstanding Chapter award.   

Frank Southall, Controller for Ruby Tuesday, Inc. will serve his first year as the FEI Knoxville Chapter President beginning July, 2011. The other board members include Craig Davis, VP of Sponsorship, and EVP/CFO of MasterCraft & Hydra Sports Boat Co.; Kyle Kirchhofer, Secretary, and CFO of Kelsan, Inc.; Ryan McMurray, Co-VP of Membership, and Controller of Radio Systems Corporation; Andy Broyles, Co-VP of Membership, and Director of Internal Audit of Ruby Tuesday, Inc.; Vince Fusco, VP of Programs, and VP Controller of Regal Entertainment Group; and Scot Braun, Treasurer, and Managing Director of Gray Shadow Financial Services, LLC .
