This study includes an extensive survey of FEI members, as well as analysis of goodwill impairments of over 5,000 publicly-traded US firms. This year’s survey has been expanded to also include private companies within the FEI membership.
Learner outcomes for this webcast include:
- Gaining insight into industry peers’ views about the potential impact of the proposed FASB option to assess qualitative factors prior to performing a Step 1 analysis.
- Benchmarking your firm against industry peers with respect to goodwill impairments.
- Understanding how the views of private companies vary from those of public companies with respect to goodwill impairment.
- Learning how to anticipate potential issues in impairment testing that are typically observed in practice by Duff & Phelps.
The live webcast is pending approval for (1) CPE credit.
