SEC Advisory Comm. May Send IPO Recommendations to SEC Today

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Advisory Committee on Small and Emerging Companies (ACSEC), at a meeting set to begin at 10:30 am today, is slated to consider approving several recommendations of its IPO task force; if approved by ACSEC, the recommendations will go to the Commission for formal consideration.

Today's meeting marks ACSEC's third meeting. According to the agenda for today's meeting, items to be considered by the committee include
  • Triggers for registration and public reporting and suspension of reporting obligations,
  • Regulation A,
  • Crowdfunding,
  • Potential future recommendations, and
  • Presentations and Discussion of Topics in IPO Task Force Report
