On September 15, 2011, FEI’s Committee on Benefits Finance joined over twenty other associations and organizations in sending a
letter to Congress, asking the new Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction to preserve the current tax treatment that both encourages employers to offer and workers to contribute to employer-provided retirement plans.
