FASB Meets on Disclosure Framework, Consolidation, Nonpublic Entities
FASB had a full day of board meetings today (April 25), with the following topics on its agenda:
- Disclosure Framework;
- Consolidations;
- Nonpublic entity fair value measurement disclosures; and
- Definition of a nonpublic entity.
Following the board meeting, FASB was slated to convene an educational session for further discussion on the definition of a nonpublic entity.
Last week, FASB met jointly with IASB in London, on topics including financial instruments to insurance contracts. Results of this week's and last week's FASB (and FASB-IASB) board meetings will be posted in a Summary of Board Decisions in
