COSO 2013: Principles and Points of Focus: The New COSO Framework

3/28/2013
UPDATED. On May 14, 2013 the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO)  released COSO 2013: Internal Control-Integrated Framework (COSO 2013). Additional information about the new release can be found in the FEI Financial Reporting Blog(FEI members ordering COSO 2013 from the COSO website should use discount code FEIIC.)

With 17 newly articulated "Principles" and additional "Points of Focus" further explaining the principles, the 2013 framework amounts to - for all intents and purposes - a new framework for those  who grew up with the original 1992  framework, and a new framework for a whole new generation of financial statement preparers, auditors, audit committee members, regulators, investors and others.

Financial Executives International, one of the founding members of COSO, is pleased to present a series of four conferences around the U.S., in partnership with expert organizations, on this important new guidance, which is relevant to Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and much more!
