Private Companies Positive on IFRS Finds a New Poll

A significant number of finance executives have interest in having a single set of globally accepted financial reporting standards, suggests a new poll by Deloitte.
More than 40 percent of 1,700 finance professionals -- mostly from private companies who responded to a set of questions during a recent Deloitte webcast -- stated their companies would take positive action when the International Accounting Standards Board completed its project on private entity reporting.
