Welcome to the Inland Empire Chapter website. Founded in 2002, the Inland Empire Chapter is one of the newest (75th) US chapters of FEI.

We are located in sunny Southern California, just east of the Los Angeles and north of the Orange County chapters. Our members typically live or work in San Bernardino County, Riverside County, or the eastern edge of Los Angeles County. We are still relatively small in contrast to our Los Angeles and Orange County chapter neighbors: But we are growing. Our target growth rate for fiscal year 2008-2009 was 50% to 45 members. We have a targeted growth rate for fiscal 2009-2010 of approximately 25% and 55 members.

Each year we strive to present a series of excellent speaker topics at our regular monthly chapter meetings. We’ve had great success with recurring annual presentations such as a entrepreneurial leadership, financial strategies and Private Equity investment. We’ve also included many other essential programs covering topics such as economics, changes in accounting standards, SOX404 implementation, corporate finance alternatives, and IT security. Approximately 40% of our members attend monthly meetings regularly.

We offer academic scholarships to deserving students at local colleges and universities that are pursuing degrees in accounting or finance. Our annual scholarship banquet is held in April of each year.
