Financial Executives International was founded in 1931 as the Controllers Institute of America. The expansion of responsibilities of financial executives into policy-making areas led us to change our name to Financial Executives Association in 1969 and in November 2000, we became Financial Executives International when membership was opened to financial executives around the world. The Northeast Ohio Chapter was established in 1935. We have monthly meetings from September through May (except January) on the second Tuesday of the month. Our technical and business meetings provide a forum for networking and a means to develop the professional and management skills of our members. We do this by providing information through diverse forms of communication, knowledge of evolving trends and issues and high-quality programs.

Services: Membership is open to executives performing the duties of a financial executive as defined by FEI and serving companies of sufficient size to qualify. Membership is on an individual basis; there are no company memberships.
