Bridgette Link

Bridgette Link is the General Manager for the Finance Business Intelligence Group at Microsoft Corporation, responsible for managing both the internal and external reporting applications. Ms. Link balances two key goals in her business, which are to strengthen and to evolve the core foundation of Microsoft’s financial systems and tools in this new digital era and to drive the Finance organization’s digital transformation, including the evaluation plan of SAP S/4HANA Business Suite on Azure.

 

Through the Modern Finance initiative, her organization is a leader in incorporating emerging technologies, such as machine learning into Microsoft’s forecasting and compliance processes and promoting the application of Azure based solutions across Finance and its business partners.

 

Her organization has accountability for the financial systems impacted by the deployment of new legal entity structures, data centers and new product offerings. She also manages the integration of newly acquired companies, business divestitures, and large-scale business reorganizations, with significant recent involvement in managing the integration of both the Nokia and LinkedIn acquisitions. Controls and compliance of several Corporate functions are also part of her portfolio. Some of her key finance initiatives for the company include simplification of the Microsoft supply chain and introduction of intercompany automation. Prior to her current position, Ms. Link led the Finance Programs & Compliance Group managing key areas of the Corporate finance infrastructure.

 

During her career with Microsoft, Ms. Link was also Senior Finance Director in Corporate Accounting, responsible for the world-wide monthly close process, including the management of the consolidated US GAAP reporting process, international accounting, statutory reporting, tax, revenue assurance and fixed assets.

 

Ms. Link has been with Microsoft for over fifteen years. Prior to joining Microsoft, Ms. Link has worked at Johnson & Johnson, Deloitte & Touche, AT&T, Hitachi and American Express.
