Amy Whipple

Along with a broad network of professional contacts that grows broader all the time, Amy brings nearly 20 years of marketing, sales, and fundraising experience to Purple Squirrel Advisors. Her work in these areas has spanned the technology, manufacturing, and non-profit sectors. She enjoys building relationships with clients and candidates alike, always answering the need to facilitate trust and good rapport, and savors the task of finding just the right person for each job. Amy is passionate about raising funds for local non-profits that provide support to Southeast Michigan communities. In 2013, she and two friends founded 100 Women Who Care, Greater Rochester Area. This group has over 200 members and steers roughly 80,000 annually to local charities. Also, Amy spearheads an ongoing volunteer-driven fundraising effort, which has now generated more than 1.6M in support of ALS research, and sits on the board of the Paint Creek Center for the Arts in Rochester, MI.   In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, attending art fairs, reading, being a “soccer mom,” and relaxing up north.
