FEI Financial Accounting and Reporting Roundtable (FARR)


FEI is introducing a new opportunity for its senior financial leaders – the FEI Financial Accounting and Reporting Roundtable (FARR).  FARR is designed for those that wish to engage with peers for networking purposes and for staying up-to-date on pertinent matters that impact their role and responsibilities.  The mission of FARR is to provide senior financial leaders an opportunity in a roundtable discussion forum, to engage with peers on matters pertaining to U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, SEC regulations, corporate policies, ICFR and a variety of operational and other financial matters.  FARR is organized by preparers, for preparers to address the day-to-day challenges of financial executives.

Meeting Information: FARR’s first roundtable meeting will be held on November 11, 2018, prior to FEI’s CFRI conference on November 12-13. FARR will meet at least bi-annually, and will schedule additional meetings based on demand and at the discretion of FARR’s Advisory Group. The meetings will follow a roundtable format, and may be complimented by presentations on specific topics.

State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

For FEI CPE credits, one credit hour equals 50 minutes according to NASBA guidelines. Some states boards may differ on how many minutes constitute a credit hour.
