Stephanie Johnson is a Vice President, Managing Director, and Assistant Controller at OneMain Financial, where she leads the corporate accounting and SEC reporting departments including overseeing approximately 40 employees. She is also responsible for leading the development and implementation of numerous finance transformation initiatives for the Controller’s group related to enterprise performance management, business spend management for approximately $700 million in annual spend and stock plan solutions.
Prior to joining OneMain in 2019, she was the Director of Financial Reporting at Texas Health Resources, where she expanded the role of financial reporting at the organization and led the implementation of the enterprise performance management software related to financial consolidation and close reporting. She also served as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs responsible for fund accounting and financial reporting of numerous investment funds totaling more than $2 billion in assets and overseeing price verification on all real estate and infrastructure valuation models. Additionally, she served as a Senior Manager in the audit, risk and assurance practice at KPMG serving clients in the financial services industry, specifically consumer and mortgage loan lending companies as well as health insurance companies.
She is a graduate of Mays Business School – Professional Program at Texas A&M University with a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Texas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
