Don Huffman is a board of directors level executive with a senior financial and corporate development background. He has been involved with biotech and other life-sciences companies for 24 years — raising more than $775 million in equity and debt financing for early to mid-stage companies. In addition, he has assisted in structuring and negotiating $650 million in merger, acquisition and spinout transactions in biotechnology and medical device companies. He has been CFO of four public companies — three NASDAQ listed and one OTC – in biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and medical technology (diagnostics and instrumentation).
He served on the board of SteadyMed Ltd. (specialty pharma; NASDAQ) until its acquisition by United Therapeutics in 2018. Don was a board member of Aerami Therapeutics (fka Dance Biopharm Inc. with inhaled insulin and other biologics) and, in addition, CFO during a recent successful fundraising period. He is currently a director of Amarantus Bioscience Holdings (Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s; OTC).
