Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson retired with 28+ years of experience as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), including over 16 years as a Supervisor and Executive Manager. He was assigned to the San Antonio Division, Austin Resident Agency and as a supervisor at FBI Headquarters, prior to reporting to Houston as a White Collar Crime supervisor managing highly complex Financial Crimes and Intellectual Property Rights investigations.

 

There, Michael supervised a number of high profile cases, including leading the FBI Houston Enron Task Force investigating the largest and most complex White Collar Crime in FBI history and the full spectrum of criminal violations and internal misconduct investigations. For his work on this case, he received the Attorney General’s Award for Exceptional Service, the highest award given by the Department of Justice for investigative excellence and accomplishment.

 

Recognized as an expert on corporate and investment fraud, Michael is a Certified Fraud Examiner who has spoken extensively about Enron and ethics to universities, private groups and companies around the country.
