Brad has more than 24 years of experience providing financial statement audit services for privately held and public companies in a variety of industry sectors, including software and services, consumer and industrial products, financial services, transportation, energy and milling. Brad leads cross-functional audit, tax and consulting teams to serve domestic and international companies. He has extensive experience providing audit services to public companies in accordance with Public Company Accounting Oversight Board standards, and has SEC reporting experience having worked on a number of multinational public companies, significant business combinations and registered transactions.
Prior to RSM, Brad served as a partner in a national firm’s national office where he monitored the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and other standards-setting bodies and wrote interpretive guidance for firm publications. He also assisted engagement teams with accounting matters relating to leasing, financial instruments, revenue recognition and share-based payments. During this time, Brad also served as a FASB Practice Fellow, where he focused on activities of the Emerging Issues Task Force, the joint leasing project, and the accounting for financial instruments and hedging activities project.
