Jon Henderson is a shareholder, business services division chair, corporate and transactional practice chair, and Dallas office managing partner of Polsinelli.  Polsinelli is a leading AMLaw 100 law firm with more than 800 lawyers in 20 offices nationwide.  He designs, implements and closes deals in the health care services industry by taking into account not only traditional corporate and structuring considerations, but also by leading a multi-disciplinary Polsinelli legal team in executing on the additional layers of licensure, provider enrollment and other regulatory specific considerations that are part of successfully completing regional and national transactions in the highly regulated health care industry.   In serving our clients, Jon has committed more than 21 years of his practice to corporate law and mergers and acquisitions with 16 of those years primarily dedicated to advising health care industry providers and investors.   Jon also frequently oversees the firm’s role as primary outside counsel in many of those client relationships.  Jon’s practice also includes advising on strategic venture capital investments in the health care industry.  Current and recent deals include home health, hospice, pharmacy benefits management, health care IT, IOM services, ambulatory surgery center, toxicology lab, urgent care, virtual physician services, retail pharmacy, revenue cycle management, behavioral, long term care pharmacy, dental services, dialysis services, and social health management.   He is the founder of the Healthcare Dealmakers Conference (f/k/a Southwest Healthcare Transactions Conference), now in its 11th year.  Jon is a frequent speaker and author on topics relating to health care mergers and acquisitions and related transactional regulatory issues.   Jon received his BBA in finance from The Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University in 1989 and his JD from St. Mary’s University in 1992.
