Javara Perrilliat

Javara Perrilliat is the President for the Southwest Area (Southern California, Arizona and Nevada) for Republic Services - the second largest provider of services in the domestic non-hazardous solid waste industry, as measured by revenue as well as a Fortune 500 company, publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: RSG). In this role he has full P&L responsibility for $1B in gross revenue across all product and service offerings. Additionally, his functional responsibilities include sales, pricing, finance, operations, safety, human resources and business development.


Prior to this role, Javara served as Senior Vice President, Operations Support. In this role, he ensured that our field teams were equipped with the right processes, standards, tools and support to deliver flawless service to our 14 million customers across the country.


Prior to joining Republic Services, Javara Perrilliat served as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Supply Management and a member of the Executive Leadership Team at Owens & Minor, a Fortune 500 international healthcare services company. Javara’s responsibilities included leading the supply chain, category management, global procurement, supplier diversity and private brands division (MediChoice and Medical Action).


Prior to Owens & Minor, Javara was a Principal and recognized operations leader with A. T. Kearney, a global consulting firm with the mission to help the world’s leading corporations gain and sustain competitive advantage, and achieve profound, tangible results. Javara has over nine years of experience in providing management consulting services across multiple industries.


Javara earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University (where he served as President of the National Society of Black Engineers) and his Master in Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.


Additionally, Javara is a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL), YPO and a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. He has previously served on the non-profit boards of both St. Mary’s Hospital and the HIDA Educational Foundation (HEF).
