Allison Patti-Oliveira

Allison Patti-Oliveira serves as the lead client service partner for a global independent investment banking advisory firm and one of the largest global hedge funds. She is also the lead technical partner for a global alternative investment manager, responsible for addressing complex accounting and reporting issues. Most recently she was leading Deloitte’s Greater Tri-State Accounting and Reporting Advisory services group.

As a partner in the Accounting Consultation group of Deloitte’s national office from 2011 to 2015, she worked with engagement teams and clients to develop views on consolidation matters and accounting for financial instrument transactions.

Before assuming her role in the national office, she participated in a one-year fellowship as the senior director of professional practice, policy, and research at the Center for Audit Quality. She was actively engaged in coordinating the CAQ’s activities in these areas and serving as a liaison with the SEC and the PCAOB. 

She returned to Deloitte in 2010 following a two-year appointment as a professional accounting fellow in the SEC’s Office of the Chief Accountant, where she focused on international accounting, auditing, and financial reporting matters. She also consulted with registrants and the Division of Corporation Finance on matters related to financial instruments, fair-value measurement, and consolidation.

During 10 years at Deloitte before joining the SEC, she participated in the Management Development Program as a member of the Accounting Consultation group in the national office. Earlier, she was a member of the Global Offerings Services group, responsible for consulting with multinational engagement teams and clients on cross-border listings and technical issues under US GAAP and IFRS.  

She began her career with Deloitte serving several public and private clients in the retail and manufacturing industries.
