He leads our company as CEO and provides strategic visions on our path to success. Ryan has been with Flexera since 1998, seven years of which spent abroad in our international offices. Prior to becoming CEO in 2016, he was Flexera's Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to that, he was Head of International Sales and Service, responsible for the EMEA region and managed many other functions within the company. Jim Ryan was instrumental in the spin-out of Macrovision's software business to a Thoma Bravo subsidiary and our subsequent investments in the Ontario Teacher's Pension Plan (OTPP) and TA Associates. He previously worked at Reliant Data Systems and Unison Software (now IBM Tivoli).
