Ian is an experienced executive in the delivery of governance, risk and compliance services. Since joining RGP in 2019, Ian leads the company’s efforts to develop and enhance capabilities to deliver value to our clients regarding internal audit & compliance related solutions.
Relevant Business Experience:
Ian has more than 25 years of hands-on, practical experience in internal audit, SOX, and other regulatory and leading practice compliance matters. During his career, Ian has helped numerous clients to identify and manage their enterprise risks through recommendations for robust internal controls for internal audit and compliance purposes as well as for optimal operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Prior to RGP, Ian served as a director in RSM’s risk consulting practice. Ian also previously worked for Deloitte and KPMG’s risk advisory practice areas and has held leadership roles in corporate audit departments in industry. Ian has broad industry experience with primary focus on financial services and consumer and industrial products. Ian has been involved with Sarbanes-Oxley Internal Control over Financial Reporting advisory services since inception of the Act in 2002.
Ian serves on The Institute of Internal Auditors Atlanta chapter Board of Governors and serves as an ISACA Atlanta chapter Board member.
