Heather Dixon, CPA

Heather Dixon joined Aetna in 2016 as VP, Assistant Controller where she is responsible for external reporting, technical accounting and strategic development of management reporting for the company.Dixon is a member of the Financial Executives International’s (FEI) Committee on Corporate Reporting (CCR).

 

Prior to joining Aetna, she was the Vice President, Assistant Controller of PepsiCo, a global food, snack and beverage company with $63 billion in annual revenues on $70 billion in total assets.Prior to that, Dixon was with American Express, a multinational financial services company with total revenues of $34 billion on total assets of $161 billion, where she held a number of positions of increasing responsibility with a focus on technical accounting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting and project delivery.

 

Dixon started her career in public accounting where she spent six years in the audit practice in Dallas, Texas and four years in the Global Capital Markets practice in London, England for PricewaterhouseCoopers.She has a BA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.
