Peter Eastwood is President & Chief Executive Officer of Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), a role he has held since BHSI was launched in April 2013. Peter’s career in the insurance industry began in 1991 at American International Group (AIG), where he held several underwriting, underwriting management, and senior leadership positions over a twenty two year period. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master in Business Administration degree from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Trustees of Ohio Wesleyan University, as well as a member of the President’s Advisory Board of the Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
