Richard Cline, Advisory Managing Director with Grant Thornton has extensive management and technology consulting experience focused on technology transformation, systems implementation, and analytics solutions. Prior to joining GT in 2016, Cline spent 13 years at IBM and for 5 years led the North America Oracle practice. Previously, he was a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s Management Consulting Services group and Arthur Andersen Consulting, focused on ERP systems and implementation. Cline has extensive experience with programs that optimize and monetize a wide variety of digital and physical assets. Areas of expertise include business case and ROI development for IoT projects, digital manufacturing, predictive maintenance and optimization, and aftermarket and warranty optimization. Projects include global design and deployment of connected appliance for predictive maintenance and customer experience, digital manufacturing strategy and implementation across a variety of industries, IoT programs in aerospace, auto, heavy equipment, and high tech manufacturing.
