Mr. Wenc is a multi-dimensional executive with extensive experience in information security, risk management, technology, process transformation, law, business start-up and strategy. He most recently served as Chief Security & Risk Officer for Underwriters Laboratories where he built and led UL’s Security and Risk organization, developed UL’s security strategy, and implemented new security processes and systems. At UL, Mr. Wenc also was a member of the team responsible for Cloud Strategy and implementation. At Gartner, he has advised numerous clients on cloud strategy and implementation including the business, technology, security and risk implications of cloud.
Mr. Wenc is an experienced business executive who brings a broad business perspective to leading security in organizations. He served as UL’s General Counsel, President of UL’s European Operations based in Geneva, Switzerland, President of UL’s Environmental services business and Senior Vice President for Business Excellence.
