As Senior Economist for JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking, Jim provides market insights and helps clients understand the impact of economic change on their businesses. He works closely with the firm's other businesses providing financial analysis and research. Additionally, Jim performs independent research on the principal forces shaping the economy and financial markets.
Jim joined JPMorgan Chase 24 years ago in 1993 and has had the privilege of working in a variety of positions in the Investment Bank and Chief Investment Office. Prior to JPMorgan Chase, he served as senior economist in the Research & Statistics and Monetary Affairs departments at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C developing monetary and reserves projections and forecasting inflation and labor market developments.
