Melissa Vuernick’s focus is inspiring people to drive business performance through strong leadership, mindset and behavioral change. She joined Kaplan, Inc. after a successful career of nearly two decades in learning and development across multiple industries, particularly in financial services, technology, media, publishing and retail. She has held accomplished roles at Penguin Group and Morgan Stanley, and has delivered programs at companies such as J.P. Morgan, Barclays, BlackRock, Raytheon, Lucent Technologies and Jupiter Communications.
Vuernick has the ability to influence and gain credibility with all levels of management. She facilitates and coaches people at all levels of an organization, bringing enthusiasm and refreshed thinking to her sessions. She encourages participants to challenge their beliefs of what they think is possible.
Vuernick holds a BA in Education and Psychology from Russell Sage College, and a master’s degree in Instructional Design from the University of Colorado. She is MBTI and Prosci Change Management certified.
