Bill Watts is a Crowe Horwath Partner in the Risk practice, and has 29 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, accounting, and business process consulting. He leads new solutions in the Risk Emerging Industries and Global Thought Leadership where he oversees the development, advising, and implementation of new and emerging market needs, including revenue recognition and leasing. Bill provides companies across various industries with impact and validation assessment for the new revenue recognition standard. In this role, he not only helps organizations understand the effect of the new standard on revenue, but also on process, controls, and system challenges.
Previous to this role, Bill led Crowe’s Business Risk and Internal Solution practice for more than 12 years. He has held various management positions for both large global companies and Big 4 accounting firms. Bill has his Masters of Business Administration from The University of Dayton and an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from Miami University.
