In his over twenty years of experience, Michael Silén has held several high level Accounting & Finance positions with companies such as Black & Decker, RSM McGladrey, Ameritox, Delsey Luggage, Inc., and ComRent International, Inc. Having such a broad range of experience and roles has enabled Michael to guide the various organizations he’s been employed with through complex restructurings, profitability improvements, and technical accounting issues. He is a CPA with an established record of rising responsibilities, driven by improved financial performance, enhanced productivity, and tightening of internal controls. Most of all, he is a proven leader that has worked with investors, board members, banks, attorneys, and auditors through periods of rapid growth and organizational restructuring.
Since joining Pompeian in 2015, Michael has worked tirelessly to streamline, update, and optimize accounting, inventory, and reporting systems. In a rapidly growing industry and company, Michael has shown a unique ability to adapt to constantly changing market prices of raw material while also reinvesting and planning for a successful future. Michael currently lives in Ellicott City, MD where he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children.
