Steven Halterman

Steve has 20 years of dedicated financial instruments experience. In his current role, Steve works in the firm's National Office Accounting Services Group dealing principally with client accounting issues involving: financial instruments, derivatives and hedging, foreign currencies, debt, fair value issues and the statement of cash flows across all firm client sectors. Prior to rejoining the group Steve completed a tour in the New York office with assignments Dubai and Riyadh with PwC’s Transaction Services Group. In addition to client issues Steve is also involved in standard setting for derivatives and other financial instruments under US-GAAP, as well as hedge accounting and cash flow statement publications.  Prior to joining PwC, Steve was Director of Derivatives and Complex Investment Instruments for a public multi-line insurer. Steve began his accounting career with another Big 4 firm in their audit practice working with multi-line insurers, securities exchanges, airlines and aircraft makers. Steve is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Iowa and also serves as an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
