Angela Stephens has recently been named the new Controller of Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), which is the seventh largest food and Beverage Company in the US. Ms. Stephens previously served as SVP – Controller of Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) for 10 years prior to the KDP merger. Her responsibilities include: all accounting and controls, SEC and management reporting, SOX reporting, consolidated FP&A, and financial shared services. Ms. Stephens also serves as the primary liaison to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
Prior to joining DPS, Ms. Stephens served in various controller, external audit, operational and consulting roles including an eight year tenure at ClubCorp, Inc. and four years at Southwest Securities. She began her career at KPMG, in the audit practice. Ms. Stephens left KPMG after nine years as a Senior Audit Manager.
Ms. Stephens graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University. She is a CPA in the state of Texas and member of the AICPA. Ms. Stephens is a member of Financial Executives International and its Committee on Corporate Reporting.
