Introduced as UTSA’s head coach on Jan. 15, 2016, Frank Wilson has led the Roadrunners to new heights since his arrival in the Alamo City.
Armed with more than a decade of coaching experience in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and a proven track record as a highly successful high school head coach, the New Orleans native has had an immediate impact on UTSA in his short time leading the program.
Wilson came to UTSA after a six-year stint as the running backs coach and recruiting coordinator at LSU from 2010-15, where he also served as associate head coach for his final four seasons with the Tigers. He also has been an assistant coach at Tennessee (2009), Southern Miss (2008) and Mississippi (2005-07).
