Mr. Erik Bradbury

Erik Bradbury is a client serving Partner in Ernst & Young’s Financial Advisory Services Practice. Prior to his current role, he was a Professional Accounting Fellow at Financial Executives International where he was responsible for the accounting policy actions of FEI including overseeing advocacy, research, education and thought leadership in support of FEI’s network of more than 10,000 plus senior-level financial executive members. As part of this role, Bradbury provided thought leadership covering a broad array of technical topics through research and interaction with more than 45 Chief Accounting Officers and Controllers of the Fortune 100 companies that comprise FEI’s Committee on Corporate Reporting (CCR).

 

Previously, Bradbury worked for Ernst & Young where he started his career in January of 2004 in Seattle, Washington. There he served as an auditor responsible for managing the audits of numerous private and publicly held companies. Bradbury was asked to join Ernst & Young’s National Professional Practice Group and relocate to New York in 2011 as a resident focusing on the accounting for financial instruments. In this role, he helped develop training and thought leadership, including publishing firm views on many financial reporting and accounting related matters, including Ernst & Young’s first ever Financial Reporting Developments publication, Issuer’s Accounting For Debt and Equity Financings.

 

Bradbury is a Certified Public Accountant in both New York and Washington State and is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
