John W. White is a partner in Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP’s Corporate Department and serves as Chair of its Corporate Governance and Board Advisory practice. From 2006 through 2008, he served as Director of the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. White’s practice focuses on advising public companies on reporting and disclosure obligations and corporate governance matters. He is a member of the PCAOB’s Standing Advisory Group (SAG), and has also served on FASB’s Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC).
