Michael A. de Geus is a credit card/identity theft/financial crime and cyber security specialist with the United States Secret Service, Los Angeles Field Office. He has a B.S. in Criminal Justice, and is a PhD Candidate in Public Policy specializing in Homeland Security. He splits his time between helping companies identify cybersecurity breaches (source, technique, breadth and depth), and helping organizations understand sources and techniques used by “hackers” so they can strengthen their defenses.
