Treg Brown is the Senior Vice President of Planning and Acquisitions for Genuine Parts Company (GPC NYSE). Treg joined GPC in 1994 as the Chief Development Officer and Strategic Planning for GPC and its subsidiaries. Prior to that, Mr. Brown was the Corporate Tax Senior Manager for Ernst & Young from 1983 to 1994.
Treg has over 35 years of experience in tax compliance, consulting and management, as well as strategic planning and accounting. Mr. Brown received his Bachelors in Business Administration and Masters in Accounting from the University of Georgia. Treg is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Treg resides in the Atlanta area with his wife Linda and his two children, Steven and Sarah. Treg is a member of the Financial Executive Institute and the American Institute of CPA’s.
