Michael (Mike) Wudke is an executive director in the Forensic Technology & Discovery Services practice and is based out of Ernst & Young LLP’s New York office. Calling on his extensive experience investigating computer fraud, performing forensic examinations, and developing cutting edge techniques and procedures, Mike is a world-class consultant, trainer and expert witness. His broad experience in planning and delivering fraud investigation and e-discovery services contributes to his status as a leading advisor for law firms and corporations around the world.
Early in his career as a forensic examiner, a position that involved work at Los Alamos National Laboratory and partnerships with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Infrastructure Protection Center, Mike was instrumental in the development of the Department of Energy’s first Computer Forensic Laboratory. As an investigative consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, he took the lead in developing and implementing procedures for evidence management and staff development, while performing examinations on a wide range of digital devices and media. Mike’s career then took him to Guidance Software, the developer of EnCase. While serving in several roles, he developed and oversaw the implementation of EnCase Enterprise in more than 50 organizations, managed and conducted numerous complex digital forensic investigations, and developed and delivered cutting edge training programs. As a senior manager in Forensic & Dispute Services at Deloitte, Mike managed well over 200 forensic and e-discovery engagements and guided Deloitte’s internal e-discovery activities. As director at LECG, he served as the practice area leader for both the Electronic Discovery and Digital Forensic service lines. Finally, as division President at TransPerfect, Mike built a forensic technology and consulting division from scratch and grew the practice to over thirty-five professionals working in twelve laboratories worldwide.
Mike is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Federal, NY and FL State court expert witness.
