Emily Rollins

Emily Rollins, Central Texas Technology Audit Practice Leader, Deloitte LLP
Emily has more than 23 years of experience providing services to early-stage, venture-backed companies through large public companies, primarily in the technology, media, and venture capital industries. For her early-stage clients, Emily balances a practical approach with her deep experience in internal control over financial reporting, internet-empowered businesses, software revenue recognition, business combinations, and stock-based compensation.

Over the course of her career, Emily has served more than 50 TMT (technology, media and telecommunications) companies as well as several medical device and life-sciences companies. She currently leads Deloitte’s Technology industry audit practice in Austin, is a member of the firm’s New Revenue Recognition Requirements team, and co-leads the firm’s Audit Innovation Internal Control project.

Emily is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College, a licensed CPA in Texas and Washington. She is also certified in International Financial Reporting Standards. In addition to her client service responsibilities, Emily is very involved in recruiting and regularly instructs local, national and industry training courses. She serves on several not-for-profit boards, including the Washington State Board of Accountancy.
