Daniel C. Murdock serves as Vice President and Corporate Controller of Comcast Corporation. In this role, he serves as a senior leader within Comcast’s Finance department and oversees accounting policies and procedures, reporting controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Murdock joined Comcast in 2015 from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) where he served as the Deputy Chief Accountant in the agency’s Office of the Chief Accountant. Prior to the SEC, he was Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Audit/Industry Professional Practice Director for media and entertainment.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of South Florida. Murdock is a certified public accountant in Illinois and New York and is a certified internal auditor, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
