Mark Besca is the New York City Managing Partner as well as an assurance partner. He has served multi-national clients for over thirty five years including Time Warner, Time Warner Cable, IAC, The McGraw-Hill Companies, Warner Music Group, Thomson Reuters Corporation, News Corporation, EMI Music and Advanced Publications. He is the Senior Advisory Partner on Staples, Delta Airlines, Aircastle, Univision and New York Presbyterian Hospital. Mr. Besca was formerly the Northeast Media and Entertainment Leader and the Northeast Assurance and Advisory Managing Partner. He has served as a member of the firms audit quality committee and gender equity task force.
Mr. Besca earned his MBA in Finance from the Columbia Business School and his BBA in accounting from Pace University.
Mr. Besca is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Pace University. He received the distinguished Alumni Award from Pace University and the Lubin Business School’s Annual Achievement Award in 2002. He is also a David Rockefeller Fellow of The New York City Partnership.
Mr. Besca is a member of the Columbia Business School Club, as well as a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of CPAs and has worked with the Technology and Media School at New York University. He is a member of the United Jewish Appeal Media and Entertainment Advisory Board and was awarded the UJA community award by the Accounting Division. He is also a volunteer with his Angel on a Leash Bernese Mountain Dog (Jeter) at Columbia Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.
