Jesse Betts is a partner at Thompson & Knight LLP and represents clients in a wide range of corporate and securities matters. He advises and counsels private equity funds, portfolio companies, public and private companies, management teams, and high net worth individuals. His experience includes advising clients in a variety of industries with respect to private equity investments, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, internal restructurings, compliance with securities law, securities offerings, venture capital investments, and other general corporate governance matters.
Mr. Betts graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law and has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University. He formerly worked as an ASIC design engineer for LSI Logic in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Mr. Betts serves on the Board of Governors of the University of Kansas School of Law and is active in his community, among other things, serving on the board of KidLinks, an organization dedicated to providing healing experiences for children of all ages through performing arts, music and media.
