Dale Tuttle

Dale Tuttle is a Partner and the Practice Leader for the Microsoft Cloud Solutions practice. Dale has more than 20 years of experience building and operating information technology services firms. At Withum, he helps operate the Firm’s cloud transformation business and works closely with other partners to grow our cloud-focused IT consulting business. Areas of specialty for this business unit include Office 365, data analytics, business process automation and UI/UX consulting.

Prior to joining Withum, Dale was COO for Portal Solutions, an information technology consulting firm based in the Washington, D.C. area. As COO, Dale worked closely with the CEO to establish overall strategy and implement plans to achieve the strategic goals of the firm.

Prior to joining Portal Solutions, he built one of the Washington D.C. area’s first portal practices at Project Performance Corporation (PPC) and developed the business into a successful division encompassing Portal, Knowledge Management, Business Process Management and Data Warehousing practices. He was a member of the management team that sold the business in 2008 and ended his career as PPC’s CTO. Since then, he has worked at Oracle and also founded Porter-Briggs; a boutique consulting firm that helps firms understand and adopt cloud technologies.

Before embarking on an IT career, Dale served as a Visiting Lecturer at Hood College on Comparative Politics and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech. lecturing on Comparative Politics and International Relations.

Dale holds a Bachelors degree from SUNY Geneseo and a dual Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Maryland at College Park.
