Brian Pilarski was promoted to Sales Leader at Brown & Brown of Detroit in 2015, based upon his top performance as a Commercial Insurance Producer since joining the office in 2008. Brian’s primary focus is to continue to deliver excel-lent service and insurance solutions to support his clients. Brian also works closely with the office president in the areas of workforce development, regional growth, and the overall office strategy.
Prior to joining Brown & Brown of Detroit, Brian gained valuable experience outside of the insurance industry. He worked as a sales representative at Payroll 1 for five years, followed by employment at LexisNexis as a territory manager.
Brian is a graduate of Central Michigan University, where he earned a bachelor degree in business administration. He went on to earn his MBA in management from Walsh College. He possesses many current certifications such as Certified Insurance Counselor, Property and Casualty Agent and Counselor, and Life and Health Agent. He is also a member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society of Detroit and the Financial Executives International Detroit Chapter.
Brian specializes in commercial insurance, with additional expertise in directors and officer coverage, real estate exposures, various contract requirements, and errors and omissions. His favorite part of his job is client interaction because he enjoys solving insurance and risk management problems to best fit the client’s needs. Brian believes Brown & Brown of Detroit is able to differenti-ate itself due to our unique exposure review process . Our proprietary analysis brings a comprehensive review of a client’s business to help find solutions that bring superior protection.
Brian is able to take advantage of Brown & Brown’s national leverage and resources to provide superior claims service and loss control products at the local level. His hard work has earned him numerous Brown & Brown awards such as Top Gun of the entire Company in May 2014, Million Dollar Club since 2013, and Tangle B Club several years in a row. In addition, Brian was named Walsh College Graduate of the Last Decade in 2015.
Brian is actively involved in community organizations. He is proud to support Forgotten Harvest, Cornerstone Schools, the American Polish Cultural Society, and Walsh College, where he also serves as a Foundation Board Member.
