Corporate Governance Survey

A corporate governance survey conducted by Financial Executives Research Foundation (FERF) and The Board Institute (TBI) in Spring 2004 illustrates the increasing emphasis on building strong corporate boards, focusing on audit committees, in particular. However, only one third of public firms and one seventh of private firms currently measure audit committee performance.
