 The demands on audit committees continue to grow, as companies experience exposure to new risks and regulatory requirements. In June 2017, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board adopted a significant new standard, setting requirements for significant additional disclosures in the auditor's report on an issuer's financial statements.  We will explore the new standard, requirements and considerations for financial leaders and audit committees.

All global companies should be working to get themselves compliant as regulations will become effective in mid-2018.  Have you started your preparations for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance? State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. For FEI CPE credits, one credit hour equals 50 minutes according to NASBA guidelines. Some states boards may differ on how many minutes constitute a credit hour.
