POSTPONED - Austin Chapter January 2022 Breakfast Meeting - "Annual Accounting Update"

Update on January 12, 2022: Due to the current COVID spike impacting projected turnout for the January 18th meeting and one of our presenters not being able to attend due to COVID in their household, FEI Austin has made the difficult decision to postpone our January 18th "Annual Accounting Update" to a later date. We apologize for the inconvenience and will send out updated scheduling and registration information as soon as we have that available.

Please join FEI Austin on January 18, 2022 from 7:30-9:00 a.m. for breakfast and our "Annual Accounting Update," provided this year by Maxwell Locke & Ritter's Anna Stepan, Tax Partner, and Kate Williams, IT Security & Compliance Partner. Attendees will learn not only about the latest tax updates, but also cost-effective compliance strategies.

We look forward to seeing you there!

FEI Austin is committed to ensuring that our chapter can continue to have the safest events possible in the face of the current COVID-19 pandemic. We are continually monitoring the latest guidance provided by federal, state and local health authorities. To that end, we will be implementing the following safety protocols as per the guidance of Austin Public Health at our upcoming events until further notice:
  • All vaccinated attendees are asked to wear a mask throughout the event, except when actively eating or drinking
  • All those who are UNvaccinated, only partially vaccinated, or in a high-risk category are asked to wear a mask at all times OR to not attend
  • Attendees will be asked to sign an FEI Austin COVID-19 waiver (either online during registration or at the event) before entering the event space
  • Additional space will be provided between seats at each breakfast table
  • Attendees should try to maintain adequate social distancing, frequently wash or sanitize hands, refrain from hugging or shaking hands, and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or an elbow
  • Sanitizer will be provided at various points throughout the registration and meeting area
  • Attendees are encouraged to stay home if they have recently come into contact with someone with COVID-19 or if they are feeling unwell, including experiencing the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness or breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.

We thank you for your cooperation with these guidelines!

Attendees at this event will hear updates on the latest accounting regulations for 2022 and cost-effective compliance strategies.

One (1.0) CPE Credit for attending this event will be given in the Field of Accounting.
